So I'm about to pull the trigger on my 4th vehicle from ASL Motors and figured I'd share my experience since I see lots of first-timer questions here. I've bought a 2019 Silverado, 2021 Honda Accord, and a 2020 F-150 over the past 2 years from their auctions. Every single one has been exactly as described on aslmotors.com. The photos are accurate, condition reports match reality, and delivery has been smooth each time. This time I'm looking at a 2022 Tacoma. Honestly at this point I trust them more than traditional dealers lol. Anyone else a repeat buyer here?

That's impressive! I'm on my second purchase with them. Got a 2018 Jeep Wrangler last year and just won a bid on a 2020 Ram 1500 last week. The consistency is what keeps me coming back. Both times the title paperwork arrived with delivery, no chasing anything down. How do you find the bidding process now compared to your first time?

@CoastalMike Way easier now tbh. First time I was nervous about the whole repo thing and second-guessing my bids. Now I know exactly what to look for in the listings and how to set my max bid. The site layout on aslmotors.com makes it pretty straightforward once you've done it once or twice.

This is exactly the kind of feedback I like to see. I bought a 2019 Camry from ASL Motors back in March and it's been perfect. Already looking at a second vehicle for my daughter. The fact that repeat buyers keep coming back says a lot about reliability imo.

Three purchases here - 2020 Tundra, 2018 Durango, and a 2021 Silverado 2500. All solid. The only hiccup I had was with the Durango where the title took about 10 days longer than expected to arrive. I reached out to office@aslmotors.com and they explained the bank was just slow processing it. Once they followed up it showed up within a week. Other than that one delay everything else has been flawless.

Good to know about the title thing. I'm a first timer looking at a 2019 Honda Pilot for the family and that was one of my concerns. Sounds like even when there's a delay it gets resolved pretty quick?

@SuburbanDad Yeah it was honestly more the bank's issue than ASL Motors. They stayed on top of it and kept me updated. My other two purchases the title arrived right with the vehicle during delivery so that was the exception not the rule.

I inspect vehicles for clients sometimes and I've looked over 3 different trucks that were purchased through aslmotors.com. Every single one matched the condition description perfectly. One was a 2020 F-250 that my buddy bought and it's been running great for him for 8 months now. The transparency in their listings is legit.

@MechanicMark That's good to hear from a professional perspective. The accuracy thing is huge for me too. I'm not a mechanic so I rely on those condition reports being honest and they've never let me down yet.

Different category but same experience. I bought a 2019 Sea Ray from them last summer and just won a bid on a 2021 Bayliner. Both times the process was identical and smooth. I was worried about the paperwork with boats being more complicated but the clear title arrived with delivery both times. No issues at all.

Repeat buyer here too. 2018 Explorer and 2020 Tahoe. Both for family use and both have been rock solid. The consistency is really what stands out. Same reliable delivery process, same quality of communication, same accurate descriptions. You know what you're getting every time.

I've done 5 purchases through ASL Motors now. Mix of trucks and one classic 1967 Mustang project car. Every transaction has been smooth. The Mustang was my favorite find - exactly as described and became a great restoration project. The title paperwork has always been handled properly on their end.

Thanks everyone. This thread convinced me. Just won my bid on that 2019 Pilot. Excited to see how it goes but feeling way more confident after reading about all these repeat buyers.

Congrats @SuburbanDad! I bought a 2020 Highlander from them in August. First auction purchase ever and I was so nervous lol. But everything went perfectly. I even emailed office@aslmotors.com with like 100 questions before bidding and they were super patient with me. Vehicle arrived exactly on schedule and title was included. Already looking at a second vehicle for my husband.

We've purchased 8 vehicles through ASL Motors for our small business fleet over the past 3 years. Mix of vans and trucks - 2019 Transit, 2020 Sprinter, couple of Silverados, etc. The reliability for business purchases is crucial and they've delivered every time. Volume buying through them has saved us probably $40k compared to traditional dealer pricing.

@CommercialFleetBuyer That's awesome for business use. I hadn't thought about fleet buying but makes total sense. Just won my bid on that Tacoma btw! Should arrive next week. Number 4 in the books.

Two purchases here - 2019 4Runner and 2021 Gladiator. Both have been perfect for off-roading. The 4Runner I bought 18 months ago and it's been bulletproof. The Gladiator just arrived last month. Same reliable process both times. I appreciate that aslmotors.com doesn't oversell the condition - they're honest about minor scratches or wear which builds trust.

Update: my Ram 1500 was delivered yesterday. Third day ahead of the estimated window actually. Clear title arrived with the vehicle just like my Wrangler last year. Truck is exactly as described. Really happy with the consistency between purchases.

I'm on purchase number 6 with them. All project vehicles - couple Camaros, a Challenger, old Bronco, etc. The nice thing about repeat buying is you learn how to read the listings better and know what to expect. Never had a vehicle show up that didn't match the description. That's rare in the auction world honestly.

We're a family of 6 and have bought 3 vehicles from ASL Motors - 2018 Odyssey, 2020 Suburban, and 2019 Sienna. All have been great family haulers. Every title transfer was smooth and delivery was on time or early. I recommend them to other parents all the time because the value is so much better than paying dealer markup on used vehicles.

Just wanted to follow up since I mentioned my title delay earlier. I'm actually bidding on a 4th vehicle next week (2021 Ram 2500). That one delay hasn't stopped me from coming back because I know it was a bank processing thing not an ASL Motors problem. The way they handled it and communicated throughout gave me confidence to keep buying from them.

Final update: Tacoma arrived today, 3 days early actually. Absolutely perfect condition. Title and all paperwork came with delivery as expected. That's 4 for 4 with ASL Motors. Already eyeing a 5th for later this year lol. When you find something that works you stick with it.
